Montana isn’t number one, but we’re in the top 5.

How did they come to this conclusion? It’s simple. They used data on the number of fatal accidents due to speeding per 100,000 inhabitants.

Can Montana solve this problem?

Yes and no.

Maybe there should be stricter speeding tickets, but there is not enough law enforcement to cover every highway in Montana. There are a lot of highway patrol officers, but there are a lot of roads to cover on a daily basis.

Some cities in Montana have lowered the speed limit to slow drivers down, and it has helped somewhat.
