Mica Miller’s Alleged Abusive Pastor Husband Says He Tried to Raise Her From the Dead!

(Warning: Potentially triggering content)

We thought our impression of this man couldn’t get any worse.

To refresh everyone, a pastor from South Carolina named John Paul Milleror JP, broke the news to his flock that his wife had committed suicide. It was bizarre and suspicious how he shared details that even the police were not ready to divulge. The whole story was sketchy — but it turned out to be true, as far as the authorities could tell. Mica Molenaar It appeared he had died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, with no one else around.

JP’s strange sermon, however, had inadvertently drawn national attention to the allegations against him. It turned out that Mica — who had recently left JP — had been vocal on social media about wanting to escape an abusive relationship. She even advised other women to get out of toxic relationships with so-called Christian men who were not treating them well. She also reported his behavior to the police after She left.

Since her death, Mica’s family and friends have spoken out about JP’s alleged abusive behavior. We learned that the pastor had a criminal record that included multiple charges of aggravated assault and battery. We also quickly learned that he met Mica when he was already married with kids, and she was just a kid who went to his church. YUCK. This is all awful.

Well, JP decided to break his silence on the matter in an interview with NewsNation on Friday. And it’s one of the most derailed things we’ve ever seen.

“I tried to raise her from the dead”

First of all? JP told interviewer Rich McHugh he went to the morgue to see his ex’s body — and tried to use his godly powers to BRING HER BACK! Yes, he means it. He defended the disruptive act by saying:

“Yes, I tried to raise her from the dead because you know what? If it had worked, we would have a whole different story. God forbid I didn’t try it and I’ve spent the rest of my life wondering ‘would it have worked?'”

You don’t have to wonder! It would never work! The only way it would work is if you were actually imbued with some kind of godlike superpowers. Is that what this man is telling us he believes? He continued:

“Jesus did it. Elisha did it. I had to try it. There are a few other people in the Bible. So yeah, if someone I love more than anything in the world has died, which I believe is an early death, you better bet I’m going to try to… In Jesus’ name, raise her from the dead.”

This man compares himself to Jesus. He really thought there was a chance he could raise the dead.

Far be it from us to try to diagnose anyone, but the word “narcissism” certainly comes to mind. And the word “crazy.” But that’s not all. Note the language he used to describe his wife — “someone I love more than anything in the world.” Okay, now let’s talk about his response to questions about her mysterious death…

He doesn’t want us to forget his alibi

During the interview, the pastor is quick to reveal his alibi:

“I was in Charleston with about 100 people from my kids’ school. We were all together on the soccer fields that day. After the soccer game, there was someone with me the whole time… someone who I love more than anything on planet Earth… was with me. And we went shopping in Charleston. And we got food in Charleston. And there are all the receipts from the whole time.”

Yeah, remember how he talked about his recently deceased ex? And then he talks about his new girlfriend almost word for word in the exact same way. Disgusting.

“Incredibly euphoric attitude”

In another strange claim — seemingly intended to bolster the suicide story — JP claimed that Mica had attempted suicide multiple times in the past, and that she was happy when she did it — as she was in the photos police released of her final hours.

Miller explained that she would have been “euphoric” if she had attempted suicide:

“Someone sent me screenshots of pictures of Dick’s Pawn Shop, where she’s smiling. Of the six or seven times she’s attempted suicide in the past, only once was she depressed. The other times she was really euphoric. And then she’d wake up and say, ‘I think I’m going to die today.’”

The letter

JP also confirmed that he wrote Mica a letter apologizing for manipulating and abusing her, and for posting a topless photo of her online. But now he denies doing any of those things, and says he only wrote the letter to get her to take her medication:

“I did it because the night she was with me, the last night we had four hours together, at one point, I spent the whole four hours trying to get her to take her meds. And she said, ‘I’m going to take my meds and I’m going to come home if you give me $10,000 and if you write me an apology letter.’ So I did it.”

Why on earth should we believe anything he says now? JFC, this guy…
