Oconto County man awaiting trial on child sex abuse charges arrested in Texas

A 41-year-old Suring man who authorities say removed his GPS tracking device and ran away has been recaptured after being arrested in Texas, the Oconto County Sheriff’s Office said Friday.

Michael Bullock was spotted at an RV park in Aransas County by a citizen who said she saw his photo online and contacted the local sheriff’s office.

Bullock was out on bail for repeated sexual assault of a child in Oconto and Kewaunee counties, and for invasion of the privacy of a minor through the use of a surveillance device in Oconto County.

Bullock was last seen in the Suring area on July 1 before fleeing, the Oconto County Sheriff’s Office said.

Bullock is awaiting extradition to the Oconto County Jail, where he now faces charges of jumping bail in both Oconto and Kewaunee County.
