‘They can turn anyone into a freak’: Illinois transfer TE talks increase

(WCIA) — Transfer tight end Carson Goda will make his Division I debut under the lights at Memorial Stadium.

Goda played three seasons at Saint Anselm College in New Hampshire before transferring to Illinois.

“Coach Tank and this strength training group are incredible and they do amazing things every day. I’ve already gained a fair amount of weight in the four weeks that I’ve been here, so they’re really doing an amazing job. I think if I keep this up, they can turn anyone into a freak. So it’s pretty cool to be in this environment,” Goda said.

During his junior campaign, Goda ranked second in the Northeast-10 in receptions, total receiving yards and receiving yards per game.
