U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sergeant Carlety Ventura is our competition hero | July 20, 2024

Staff Sergeant Ventura was born in the Dominican Republic and came to the United States at the age of four. She grew up in Tampa, Florida and joined the Marine Corps in 2014.

Ventura has served multiple tours at Marine Corps Air Station North Carolina and Marine Corps Air Station Camp Pendleton. She has been an aircraft technician for ten years.

Some of her awards include the National Defense Service Medal, the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal.

Sergeant Ventura is currently stationed with the Marine Corps Recruiter in Los Angeles.
