Person killed on 110 Freeway near Florence Avenue

One person was killed Saturday on the Harbor (110) Freeway in the Vermont Knolls neighborhood of South Los Angeles.

California Highway Patrol officers responded to a report of a fallen person at Northbound Freeway and Florence Avenue at approximately 12:41 a.m. They found a pedestrian in the center lane of the freeway, CHP Officer Sergio Garcia told City News Service.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s name, gender and age are unknown.
