WVU’s Football Schedule Through 2027 • The Voice Of Motown

Morgantown, WV – It’s almost time for football in the Mountain State. With only six weeks until kickoff, fans are eagerly awaiting the most anticipated Mountaineer Football season in over half-a-decade.

Coming off of a 9-4 season, fans will immediately be greeted with an intriguing matchup as the Mountaineers welcome Penn State to Morgantown for the first time in 32 years. That is not the only premier game on the schedule as WVU will travel to Pittsburgh to take on arch rival Pitt only two weeks later.

WVU’s 2024 schedule is as follows:

August 31st: Penn State

September 7th: Albany

September 14th: at Pitt

September 21st: Kansas

October 5th: at Oklahoma State

October 12th: Iowa State

October 19th: Kansas State

October 26th: at Arizona

November 9th: at Cincinnati

November 16th: Baylor

November 23rd: UCF

November 30th: at Texas Tech

While the 2024 season is what is at the forefront of fans’ minds right now, many seem to forget that WVU’s schedule has been set for the foreseeable future. Today, we are going to take a look at the future schedule for the Mountaineers, all the way up to the 2027 season.

Earlier this year, the Big 12 Conference revealed opponents for each team’s in-conference season until 2027 season. Since WVU has also scheduled all of their non-conference opponents until then, we now know who and where the Mountaineers will play in the next few short years.
