CONCORD, NH — Joshua M. Gagnon, born in 1993, of Concord was served with a summons on a warrant on July 12, 2024 at 2:34 a.m. He was arrested following an incident or investigation under the Interstate 303 bridge.

Brian J. Heselton, 37, of Bunker Hill Road in Auburn was arrested at 1:38 p.m. July 11 for theft by unauthorized taking, a felony based on two prior convictions. In late December 2023, an officer was dispatched to the NY Smoke and Vape Shop on Loudon Road for a past tense theft. The store manager stated that a $100 glass bong had been stolen the day before. The store owner told the officer that a man came in and was browsing. Then a second man came in and appeared to distract him. The first man grabbed a bong from a counter and left the store while the second man purchased some items, the report said. The man with the bong got into a Toyota SUV with a New Hampshire registration. The officer wrote down a description of the man, ran the license plate and found it was associated with an elderly woman. The officer spoke with the woman, and she said her daughter had used the SUV that day. The woman also accused her daughter of “hanging out” with Heselton and that he sometimes used the vehicle, the affidavit said. The officer compared the surveillance video to Heselton’s photo and said they matched, the report said. A check by the officer revealed that Heselton was a suspect in “multiple robberies at various smoke shops throughout New Hampshire,” the officer wrote. He also had previous convictions for two prior robberies in March 2022 and April 2022 in Hillsborough County. A warrant was issued for his arrest on Jan. 28.
