Nets extend multi-year deal with Keon Johnson: Report

The Nets re-sign a free agent shooting guard Keon Johnson signed a multi-year deal, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Johnson spent last season with the Nets after spending the last two seasons with the Clippers and Trail Blazers. The 22-year-old played just five games with the Nets, averaging 6.2 points and 1.4 rebounds in 12.2 minutes.

Johnson, however, has had a great Summer League in Las Vegas. In four games, Johnson has averaged 30.7 minutes and is scoring 16.3 points per game on 45 percent shooting. He is also averaging 5.8 assists and 4.8 rebounds.

In 62 games (12 as a starter) over three NBA seasons, the 6-foot-5 guard from Tennessee averaged 5.9 points on 36.3 percent shooting, 1.7 assists and 1.6 rebounds in 14.3 minutes.
