Foggy and warm conditions to continue next week

It will remain foggy for the time being due to smoke from wildfires in Montana, the western US and Canada. It will also be smoky in some areas for the next few days and at times the air quality will be unhealthy for sensitive groups and potentially unhealthy for everyone.

There will be a few showers and thunderstorms tonight as a disturbance moves out of our area. Tonight we will have decreasing clouds and mostly dry conditions. It will also be mild tonight as lows will be in the mid to high 50s and low to mid 60s for most locations. Tomorrow we will have mostly sunny skies and mostly dry conditions. It will also be warm tomorrow as highs will be in the 90s and high 80s for most locations. There will also be a slight breeze tomorrow afternoon/evening along the Rocky Mountain Front as sustained winds will be between 5 and 20 mph.

Plenty of sunshine and mainly dry conditions are expected next week as an upper level mountain ridge takes full control of our weather. It will also be very warm Monday through Thursday as highs will be in the 90s and 100s with Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday being the warmest days. Slightly cooler temperatures are then expected on Friday as highs will be in the upper 80s and low to mid 90s for most locations.

We will then have mostly sunny skies with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms on Saturday as an upper level trough begins to affect our area. It will also be a bit cooler on Saturday as highs will be in the 80s and low 90s.
