Pennsylvania State University students pay more in tuition if they attend main campus

PENNSYLVANIA (WPVI) — Students at Pennsylvania State University will soon pay more if they move to the main campus, university officials say.

The Supervisory Board has approved an increase in tuition fees to compensate for the university’s budget deficit.

Officials say tuition for in-state students will increase by just over $400 starting in 2025.

Out-of-state tuition will increase by 1% for students attending satellite campuses. It will increase by 4% if the student attends Happy Valley.

According to university officials, tuition will not increase for out-of-state students attending satellite campuses.
