Former Oregon Duck Christian Gonzalez Buys Parents New Home

One of the goals of every athlete who eventually reaches the professional level is to be able to provide for his family and give back to those who helped him get to where he is today.

Former Oregon Ducks cornerback Christian Gonzalez finally saw his dream come true.

On his Instagram this past weekend, Gonzalez shared that he bought a new house for his parents. Here’s what he wrote in the post:

“Mom and Dad, I told you when I started this soccer adventure at age 5 that I would put you in a place you couldn’t imagine. You deserve this and more. I love you all!”

With beautiful hardwood floors, high ceilings and a pool in the backyard, it looks like a beautiful home. A first-round pick of the New England Patriots a year ago, Gonzalez signed a four-year contract worth more than $15 million. It’s great to see him putting it to good use.
