Motorcyclist seriously injured after crash on highway 20

NORTH DAKOTA (KXNET) — A crash occurred on Highway 20 that left a motorcyclist seriously injured.

According to the highway patrol, a 56-year-old Webster man was driving a 1998 Honda GL 1500 south on Highway 20, while a 47-year-old Pembina man was driving a 2011 Chrysler east.
There were also four minor passengers in the Chrysler.


The 47-year-old stopped at a stop sign and while waiting for traffic to pass before he could turn, another vehicle, which was in front of the motorcycle, turned.

According to the patrol, the Chrysler driver’s view was obstructed at the time and the Honda motorcycle made a sharp turn toward the Chrysler.

The 47-year-old and one of his passengers suffered minor injuries in the crash and were treated and discharged at the scene. The other passengers were unharmed.

However, the motorcyclist was seriously injured and taken to a hospital in Devils Lake.
