Water tanker crash paralyzes portion of Route 21 in Fayette County

MASONTOWN, Pa. (KDKA) — A water tanker accident in Fayette County has closed a portion of Route 21 in both directions.

According to dispatchers, the accident happened just after 4 a.m. in Masontown.

Only the water tanker was involved in the crash. As of this morning, no injuries have been reported.

It is not yet known when the road will reopen.

Pennsylvania State Police are investigating.
