Discovery announces new season of Gold Rush: Mine Rescue with Freddy and JuaN

Freddy and Juan are back. Discovery has announced a new season of Gold Rush: Mine Rescue with Freddy and Juan. These two take bush fixes to a new level. What can goldmine fans expect this season?

According to The Futon CriticFans can expect more clever hacks and ingenious solutions from their combined 50+ years of gold mining, as they help more mine owners survive this season.

This season, however, the gold mining experts only get paid if the miners double their gold. That’s a big risk, but Freddy and Juan are the best. They’re not going to travel 12,000 miles across two countries for a small raise. They want the miners to get everything they can out of their gold mine.

This season sees some high-tech solutions and some unique builds. They spend a lot of time in the Southwest, including Twentynine Palms, California, and then on to Kingman and Stanton, Arizona. In the fourth episode of this new series, the two also make it to Montana, where their hacks help miners get to the good gold. Eventually, they travel to Oregon and Canada. While most fans are used to the Klondike, this pair ends up in British Columbia. What will they find there?

For example, Freddy declares that he has over $17 million worth of gold in his hands. How does he know that? It’s Freddy Dodge, and his methods mean money. That also means extra hands to dig. Freddy and Juan can provide solutions, but there’s still some work to be done to get to the gold.

Both Freddy and Juan starred in the original Gold Mining series

Gold Fever Fans may remember that Freddy Dodge was originally on the Discovery series, helping Todd Hoffman as part of his crew. By season 3, Freddy’s personality and expertise made him a fan favorite and a series regular. He eventually got a spinoff in 2021.

As for Juan Ibarra, he also joined the Hoffman crew in season 6. However, when Todd left Discovery, Juan began working for Tony Beets in season 9. Juan has appeared in two other spin-offs, including Winter FortuneAnd The Lost Mine by Dave Turin.

Gold Fever fans, are you going to watch the new season of Gold Rush: Mine Rescue with Freddy and Juan?
