‘Hey, hey! Ho ho! Thanks Joe, it’s time to go!’

The internal Democratic coup against Joe Biden has reached pressure stage, as a crowd of protesters has descended on the White House, signaling that it is time for him to drop out of the race.

On Saturday, protesters gathered at 1600 Pennsylvania NW, waving signs and chanting, “Hey, hey! Ho ho! Thank you Joe, it’s time to go,” as part of the campaign to oust the deeply unpopular incumbent president before he is defeated by former President Donald J. Trump in November.

The protests were organized by Pass the Torch, a shadowy group formed after the 81-year-old made a public appearance during the CNN debate, sending Democrats into a frenzy as a national television audience saw the real Biden, not the one falsely portrayed by the media.

Fears that Biden’s deteriorating condition could cost his party control of political power have fueled a desperate effort to oust him from the top spot, led by former President Barack Obama and former Speaker Nancy Pelosi. After weeks of damaging leaks to the media, the effort appears to be entering a new, more aggressive phase.

“We need a presidential candidate who has the best chance of beating Trump, and a growing majority of Democrats believe that President Biden is not that candidate and should step aside,” said progressive activist Aaron Regunberg, a former Democratic lawmaker from Rhode Island who co-founded the mysterious group that bills itself as a grassroots organization.

“Tens of thousands of Democratic voters have called, sent emails, and held actions in swing states through Pass the Torch. But the president still hasn’t gotten the message. That’s why we’re organizing something harder to ignore: a rally outside the White House. Because we’re not ready to accept a second Trump presidency. We still have time to avert disaster and change course,” Regunberg said in a statement, according to Mediaite.

“I think it’s very clear that President Joe Biden has done so much for us, and it’s time for him to step down and for Vice President Kamala Harris to appoint a new vice president,” said Claudia Nachega, one of the protesters calling for a promotion of Biden’s dizzy DEI vice president, believing she has a better chance against Trump.

“Biden polled badly before his debate. Now he’s even further behind, and his chances of catching up look increasingly slim based on his performance,” Pass the Torch said on its website. “We don’t have to resign ourselves to the absolute catastrophe of a second Trump term — and more and more respected Democratic leaders and institutions are joining in this call.”

The group’s website features quotes from Democrats, including Pelosi, who Biden reportedly is unhappy about her seizing power in the impeachment effort.

“The party Biden has dedicated his life to is unleashing a new and very public effort to stop him from challenging Donald Trump for the White House. A slew of House Democrats joined two other prominent Democratic senators tonight in calling Biden out of office,” CNN’s Kaitlan Collins said Friday.

“We’re told President Biden is seething with anger tonight, with much of his anger directed at Nancy Pelosi. That’s because some of the names calling for him to withdraw from the race or her closest allies are within sight of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, tonight, where President Biden is located,” she added, according to Mediaite.

Biden is currently holed up in his bunker in Delaware after being pulled from the campaign trail last week after testing positive for COVID. He stubbornly refuses to step down.
