‘There Was a Second Shooter?’ Maria Bartiromo and Ron Johnson Flip Out Over Trump Shooter

Fox News host Maria Bartiromo and Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) floated possible conspiracy theories over the weekend after former President Donald Trump was shot in the ear.

During an appearance on Fox News on Sunday, Johnson suggested that Trump’s life was saved because he looked at a chart the Wisconsin senator first gave to the former president.

“Wow, that chart you gave to President Trump turned out to be incredibly important,” Bartiromo said.

“So call it serendipity, call it divine intervention, it’s clearly going to be an interesting footnote in history,” Johnson said. “I’m glad I was able to play that small part in saving his life.”

Johnson pointed out that local police were aware of alleged shooter Thomas Crooks nearly an hour before Trump was shot.

“If you have video, save it, make a backup copy,” the lawmaker told Fox News viewers. “We can pick up things in terms of audio, in terms of where the shots came from.”

“Was it one gun? Was it more than one? I’ve seen some interesting videos online from experts that certainly cast doubt on what the FBI is telling us about a single shooter.”

Johnson said there was an agreement between both sides to launch an investigation into the shooting.

“So, are you wondering if there was a second shooter?” Bartiromo asked. “Is that what you’re wondering, or if the shooter had a different weapon?”

“I saw a very compelling video online, I know it goes both ways,” Johnson responded. “There were three clear shots at the beginning, followed by five more in a more staccato, faster paced manner, and then the final one, which we believe took out the shooter.”

“How do you explain that?” the Fox News host asked.

“I don’t know. I’m not an expert,” Johnson admitted. “But the person who released the video says it clearly shows at least three different weapons were fired that day.”
