Two people flown by helicopter after ATV accident in Marion County

BAXTER, W.Va. (WBOY) — Two people were airlifted for treatment following an ATV crash near Baxter.

Marion County Emergency Services officials confirmed the crash occurred in the nearby woods off Woods Run Road and that two patients were airlifted for further medical care.

No information has been released about the condition of the patients or the medical center they were taken to.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the accident. They, along with the Barrackville, Baxter and Grant Town fire departments and the Marion County Rescue Squad, responded to the scene.
