Mets’ Kodai Senga has ‘good chance’ to make MLB debut in 2024 against Braves despite injury

Kodai Senga’s return to MLB could come against a division rival.

New York Mets manager Carlos Mendoza said Sunday that there is a “good chance” the 31-year-old will make his 2024 season debut on Friday against the Atlanta Braves.

“Everything’s good so far. … Everything’s positive,” Mendoza said, according to SNY’s Alex Smith. “We’ll just have to see how it goes today, and tomorrow, and hopefully he’ll be back next time. Everything’s going in the right direction.”
