Dallas police investigating deadly shooting in West Oak Cliff; suspect at large

No arrests have been announced in the Sunday morning shooting that left a man dead in West Oak Cliff.

Officers responded to the 3300 block of West Pentagon Parkway, near the intersection with South Westmoreland Road, shortly before 4 a.m. and found a 31-year-old man shot to death on the ground, police said.

The man, identified by police as Patrick Lee Island II, was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other details about the shooting were available at this time.

The investigation is still ongoing.
