Red River Market celebrates growth, ten years in the making

Red River Market

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – With the Fargo Street Fair running through Saturday, the Red River Market had to move to Sunday, but that didn’t stop people from turning out.

The market featured over 80 vendors selling produce, food and drinks as well as entertainment in Broadway Square.

The farmer’s market is in its tenth year of operation, and Executive Director Joe Burgum says that it has been going great.

He says that having a famer’s market of this size and quality was always the dream when they started out.

“We dreamed when we opened the farmer’s market in 2014 that someday, maybe in or tenth year, that we’d be one of the best famer’s markets in the country, and we’re proud to say that we’re definitely a top ten famer’s market in the United States.”

The Red River Market will be back downtown at their normal time next Saturday, and will run through October 26.
