If you love to travel and get excited about the idea of ​​exploring nature and being outdoors, then you might consider visiting one (or more) of the top 25 national parks, according to research from Travel & Leisure.

Travel & Leisure asks its readers to share their opinions each year in the World’s Best Awards survey. They want to gain insight into where people want to spend their vacations and what their ratings are of the best hotels, resorts, airlines and more.

Yosemite National Park

Yosemite National Park is America’s second oldest national park.

According to Travel & Leisure, more than 700,000 votes were cast this year on various properties (locations, hotels, cruise ships, etc.), including national parks. Readers rated properties based on natural attractions, activities, accommodations, and wildlife.

Travel & Leisure then announced its 25 favorite national parks in 2024.

FOX weather correspondent Robert Ray visits Grand Teton National Park, where the stunning scenery offers mountain views and six glacial lakes.

All of the national parks in the top 10 were in the West, except one – Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Of the top 25, all but five were in the Western U.S.

According to Travel & Leisure, these results were comparable to those of the previous two years.
