In the meantimeThe bearThe long-awaited third season has just been released to mixed reviews.

The guardRebecca Nicholson wrote about the style of the first episode: “Persistent repetition is the enemy of compelling storytelling. It must movement. This means that the excellent Sydney (Ayo Edebiri) is somewhat sidelined, both in the storyline and, to some extent, in the season. What a waste.”

And in VarietyAlison Herman echoed: “It also doesn’t tell us anything we don’t already know, and makes room for cameos from a whole host of culinary legends at the expense of the story. The structure would work for an extended cold open to establish Carmy’s mood; stretched out to an entire episode, it’s an overload.”

In other Bruce Springsteen news, the Boss recently joined Mark Knopfler’s all-star charity re-recording of ‘Going Home’, which featured the likes of Queen’s Brian May, Bruce Springsteen, Black Sabbath’s Tony Iommi, Eric Clapton, Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood and many more.
