WIAC Men’s Teams and Individuals Claim ITA Academic Honors

TEMPE, Arizona.–The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and The College of New Jersey have earned Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team recognition for the 2023-24 academic year, while 27 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) members have received ITA Scholar Athlete honors.


Both conference teams earned the distinction with a team average of 3.20 or higher.


Among the WIAC individuals claiming this honor were: Alex Aranda, Jack Hehli, Luke Hinchcliffe, Brady Horstmann, Joseph O’Flaherty and Luke Spika of UW-La Crosse; Jackson Andrews, Steven Benoy, Logan Eithun, Daniel Harris, Colin McCurdy and Jordan Roo of UW-Stevens Point; Ridley Aranda, Joshua Baldwin, Theodore Billson, Joshua Guillermo, Chase Lindwall, Jordan Oaks, Will Ulrich and Luke VanDonslear of UW-Whitewater; and Curt Gruber, Harrison Maitland-Carter, Matthew Michibata, Brett Schuster, Alberto Thomas, Aidan Twamley and Asa Wong of The College of New Jersey.


To be named an ITA Scholar Athlete, student-athletes must have achieved a minimum grade point average of 3.50 for the current academic year and be listed on the institutional admissions form.
