Ayotte endorsed for governor by police union

Republican Kelly Ayotte has the support of New Hampshire’s largest police union in her bid for governor.

The New England Police Benevolent Association has 700 members, including police officers and support personnel from state, county, and local government.

The union director said Ayotte has supported the law enforcement community throughout her career.

The former U.S. attorney general and senator is running against former Senate President Chuck Morse for the GOP nomination.
